Light and Moments
In the world of photography, I've discovered that my camera has a magical way of capturing details even my own eyes might miss. As a kid, I was always snapping instant photos and collecting magazine clippings—photography has been my silent muse since day one. So, when it came time to choose a career, my heart screamed 'photography!' My mom was a bit taken aback and asked, 'What on earth will you do with a photography diploma?' I told her I dreamed of becoming a war photographer, inspired by that iconic National Geographic photo of the girl with the mesmerizing eyes. But, as life would have it, I ended up studying goldsmithing instead.
Fast forward a few years, and I met a friend with a 'real' camera. My curiosity kicked in, and I dove headfirst into learning the technical side of photography. Assisting a wedding photographer was a game-changer—I got to know my camera like the back of my hand.
For a decade, I played the role of second shooter, always working behind the scenes in partnerships. Then, the pandemic came along and gave me the nudge I needed to step out of my comfort zone. That's when I decided to launch my own brand. Along the way, I've had incredible teachers, mentors, and friends who helped me grow.
Natural light photography stole my heart. The dance of light and shadows is a beautiful challenge I can't resist. I love capturing those candid moments when people are blissfully unaware of the camera. My focus? Families, companies, and events—because that's when true beauty shines through. Sure, I might be a bit shy at first, but once you get to know me, you'll see I'm a lot of fun! I thrive on capturing the spontaneity of events, bringing order to chaos, and making sure every moment is immortalized.
